BEAUTIFUL -Trust (January kit)
"Trust" is a kit for Bible Journaling focusing on the paramount importance of Trust in God in our faith and earthly journey. This will enable us to be carriers/bearers of Christ, which can take many forms, although all beautiful and deeply moving. As a main visual theme, the image of young Jesus riding on Joseph's shoulders, playfully shielding his eyes is an invitation to walk by faith and not by sight.
The way He is inviting us into the mystery of faith is disarming and incredibly beautiful and unexpected. When we walk in darkness "He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me" Whoa! How powerful! "for we walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7
“Beautiful” is a series of short studies on Beauty and its connection to God’s Purpose, Trust, Light and Time. There is a continuity between each devotional and kit, each chapter connecting to the next one in some way. This will be a refreshing retreat into beauty and order, gazing upon stars and cells, photons and psalms, dandelions, sparrows and butterflies, luna moths and liquid diamonds - just to dust off the mundane and take a refreshing peek into the beautiful mysteries of God’s creation.
The kit focuses on Beauty as a guide toward a connection with God, bridging the gap from the visible to the invisible.
